Qualifications & Experience:
- Active certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB)
- Current state licensure (or eligibility)
- Demonstrated experience in a clinical imaging environment, specifically nuclear medicine
- Proficiency with SPECT, PET, and combination imaging modalities
- Familiarity with quality assurance protocols and radiation safety
- Strong patient communication, comfort, and positioning skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with standards and protocols
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using nuclear medicine technology
- Accurately process and analyze images for physician interpretation
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver patient-focused care
- Document patient information and imaging results according to HIPAA and facility guidelines
- Monitor patients during procedures for comfort and safety
