Key Details:

Qualifications:

  • Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification essential
  • Proven experience in Nuclear Medicine and operation of PET/SPECT and related imaging technology
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and clinical protocols
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately according to physician orders
  • Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assess image quality, process results, and ensure timely distribution to interpreting physicians
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide compassionate care, thoroughly educating patients about procedures and addressing any questions or concerns
  • Monitor inventory levels for radiopharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive diagnostic support
