Qualifications:
- Valid certification with ARRT(N) or NMTCB
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in imaging procedures specific to nuclear medicine
- Proficiency using nuclear medicine equipment and technology
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in line with safety protocols
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patients during examinations and respond to any immediate needs or adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate and timely records of all imaging procedures and patient interactions
- Uphold strict adherence to infection control, radiation safety, and quality assurance standards
- Assist in maintaining equipment functionality and troubleshooting minor technical issues as needed
