Key Details:

Qualifications:
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification essential
- Proven experience in Nuclear Medicine and operation of PET/SPECT and related imaging technology
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and clinical protocols
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals accurately according to physician orders
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Assess image quality, process results, and ensure timely distribution to interpreting physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Provide compassionate care, thoroughly educating patients about procedures and addressing any questions or concerns
- Monitor inventory levels for radiopharmaceuticals and supplies, ensuring proper storage and handling
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive diagnostic support
