Qualifications:

  • Current certification from ARRT or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • IL state radiology license (pending applications in progress also considered)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
  • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in nuclear medicine imaging
  • Previous experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting preferred
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork mentality

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging studies and procedures with technical precision and patient safety in mind
  • Adhere to established protocols, radiation safety, and infection control measures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
  • Ensure accurate documentation, image processing, and timely reporting of results
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment according to regulatory standards
  • Provide compassionate guidance and information to patients regarding procedures
