Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Oneonta, NY

Opportunity available for a skilled professional experienced in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT technology. This contract role calls for a specialist comfortable operating a GE Discovery IQ system, delivering quality imaging services in a collaborative healthcare setting.

Schedule & Hours:

• 13-week contract assignment
• Four 10-hour shifts: Tuesday through Friday, day shift

Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated competence in Nuclear Medicine and CT/PET imaging
• Proficient in usage of GE imaging equipment, specifically the GE Discovery IQ
• Dual certification is mandatory: must possess both of the following–
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N)
  • ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
• Active New York State licenses in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
• Proven experience providing high-quality diagnostic images and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a broad range of routine and advanced Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
• Operate the GE Discovery IQ system for precise imaging studies
• Verify physician orders and ensure accurate patient identification and care
• Maintain compliant and organized documentation of examinations and safety protocols
• Monitor inventory and maintain all imaging equipment in top working condition
• Uphold best practices regarding radiation safety for both patients and staff
