Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Tuesday through Friday, day shift
Key Qualifications:
- Experienced in Imaging: Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Proficient with GE Discovery IQ equipment; previous GE platform experience is essential
- Dual certification is required:
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) AND ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Must possess both a Nuclear Medicine certification and a radiology certification
- Current New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality PET CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging studies following established protocols
- Calibrate, operate, and troubleshoot GE Discovery IQ imaging systems
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety standards
- Evaluate images for technical quality and accuracy, communicating results as appropriate
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold radiation safety procedures
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver excellent patient care
