Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Key Qualifications:
- Active NMTCB or ARRT (N) Certification required
- New York State License in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Experience with GE Nuclear Medicine cameras, Biodex Dose calibrator, EPIC, NMIS, and Xeleris preferred
Responsibilities:
- Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment (SPECT, SPECT/CT) and perform diagnostic procedures
- Follow radiation safety standards for both staff and patients
- Prepare and manage radiopharmaceutical inventory and documentation per NY DOH regulations
- Educate patients regarding procedures and ensure optimal care
- Coordinate with physicians, radiologists, and team members for seamless workflow
- Process and transfer imaging data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with PACS/EPIC systems
- Maintain equipment with routine quality control, reporting any deviations promptly
- Start IVs and handle radioisotope injection/removal safely
- Uphold confidentiality and adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies
