Specializing in nuclear medicine imaging, this contract opportunity lets skilled professionals contribute to patient diagnosis and care within a collaborative medical team. Use advanced imaging techniques to provide critical data for physicians, enhancing outcomes for a diverse patient population.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Varied day shifts: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-NM)
- Valid state licensure as required
- Proven experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment (Gamma cameras, PET scanners, SPECT, etc.)
- Current BLS certification
- Strong understanding of radiation safety standards and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals based on physician orders
- Operate nuclear medicine equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Adhere to radiation safety regulations and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with physicians to deliver timely and precise imaging results
- Participate in equipment maintenance and quality assurance processes
