Job Description

Soliant is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist PET/CT for a 13-week travel assignment in Port Charlotte, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to join a patient-focused imaging team and work in a specialized PET/CT environment using advanced imaging technology in a supportive clinical setting.

Work with a Siemens Biograph PET/CT system while gaining valuable experience in a highly specialized imaging role. The facility offers flexible scheduling with either a Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday option, creating excellent work-life balance while maintaining steady hours.

This assignment also offers strong earning potential with weekly pay around $3,200, including untaxed stipends for eligible travelers. Compensation:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to physician orders
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
  • Operate Siemens Biograph PET/CT equipment safely and efficiently
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals according to department protocols
  • Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure quality patient care

Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • Knowledge of PET/CT imaging procedures and radiation safety protocols
  • Ability to work efficiently in a clinical environment
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills

Qualifications/Education:

  • Florida Nuclear Medicine License required
    NMTCB or ARRT Certification required
    Licensing assistance available if needed

Experience:

  • Previous Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
  • PET/CT experience preferred
  • Experience with Siemens imaging equipment preferred

Work Hours:

  • 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM, approximately 32–35 hours per week; Monday through Friday or Monday through Thursday options available
