A dynamic opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Med/PET CT Tech with strong imaging skills in both Nuclear Medicine and CT/PET technologies. This 13-week contract role provides a chance to work with cutting-edge technology and a dedicated clinical team, offering valuable growth and hands-on experience.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour day shifts
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET Technologist, and Nuclear Med Tech
- Proficiency operating GE Omni or similar GE equipment (requirement)
- Dual certification required: Must hold NMTCB or ARRT(N), and either ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- (Must possess both a Nuclear Medicine and a radiology credential)
- Active NY State licenses for both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills with imaging equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safe, high-quality imaging practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols
- Utilize the GE Omni system proficiently for accurate imaging and results
- Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Accurately document procedures, patient histories, and maintain patient confidentiality
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, referring providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Provide compassionate care and clear communication to patients during exams
