Deliver advanced patient care and support diagnostic imaging as a skilled professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and Nuclear Medicine Technology. This contract position provides the opportunity to work alongside other healthcare professionals, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment to generate high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience operating PET/CT and nuclear medicine equipment
- Knowledge of radiation safety, protocols, and patient positioning
- Proficiency with imaging procedures, quality assurance, and documentation
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to adapt within a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging studies
- Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine scans ensuring diagnostic image quality
- Monitor patient well-being and ensure comfort throughout the procedure
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other care team members to optimize imaging outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient and procedure records following HIPAA and facility protocols
- Conduct equipment checks and regular quality control procedures
