Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Queensbury, NY

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, and CT imaging
• Demonstrated experience working with GE imaging equipment, specifically the GE Omni
• Dual certification required:
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N)
  • AND one of the following: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
• Active New York state licenses for both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic procedures including nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans using GE Omni equipment
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal protocols for radiation safety and quality assurance
• Accurately document procedures and communicate findings or concerns with appropriate clinical staff
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging strategies and patient outcomes
• Maintain thorough knowledge of imaging equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues as they arise
• Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients throughout the imaging process
