Seeking a skilled imaging professional to provide essential Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT services at a leading healthcare facility. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks and centers on delivering top-quality diagnostic procedures in a collaborative medical environment.

Schedule and Work Hours:

  • 13-week contract
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Shifts: Tuesday through Friday, daytime schedule

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating GE Discovery IQ equipment required
  • Dual certification required: must hold both NMTCB or ARRT(N) AND one of the following—ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
  • Current New York state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology essential
  • Previous experience as a Nuclear Med/PET CT Tech highly valued
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including PET scans and nuclear medicine studies, using GE Discovery IQ equipment
  • Prepare, administer, and document radioactive tracers in accordance with best practices and safety protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate, timely test results
  • Maintain clean, safe, and compliant imaging environments
  • Educate patients on procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns
  • Accurately document and report scan findings in patient records
