Seeking an experienced professional to provide high-quality imaging services as a Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist. This contract role spans 13 weeks and centers on advanced imaging procedures using the GE Discovery IQ system.

Key Details:

  • Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
  • Days: Tuesday – Friday, day shift

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience with GE Discovery IQ equipment is required.
  • Dual certification is mandatory:
    • NMTCB or ARRT(N)
    • Plus: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
  • Valid New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET imaging, and cross-functional radiologic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to outstanding patient care.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures safely and accurately for diagnostic and treatment purposes.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents as directed by protocols.
  • Operate GE Discovery IQ and related medical imaging equipment.
  • Ensure proper patient positioning, comfort, and safety throughout all imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and clinical staff to deliver exceptional diagnostic images.
  • Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients regarding procedures.
