Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) - Richmondville, New York

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts (Tuesday through Friday, day shift)

Qualifications:

• Experience operating GE Discovery IQ equipment required
• Dual certification:
  • NMTCB or ARRT(N)
  • Plus ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
• Active NY state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
• Proven abilities in Nuclear Medicine, CT/PET, and multimodal imaging
• Attention to detail and patient-focused communication skills
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, collaborative setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine procedures following established protocols and safety standards
• Operate GE Discovery IQ equipment with precision, ensuring quality diagnostic images
• Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patient reactions throughout procedures
• Verify patient identification, obtain thorough histories, and provide clear procedural explanations
• Complete accurate documentation and uphold regulatory compliance at all times
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
• Assist in maintaining and calibrating imaging equipment
