Qualifications and Experience:

• Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT (N), NMTCB, or equivalent)
• Recent experience performing nuclear medicine procedures in clinical or hospital settings
• Proficiency with imaging equipment, radioactive pharmaceuticals, and imaging software
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to analyze and interpret imaging results
• Effective communication skills to interact with patients, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Valid BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for imaging procedures following safety guidelines
• Operate state-of-the-art imaging equipment to capture quality diagnostic images
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging results in accordance with facility policies
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, explaining procedures and addressing questions
• Accurately follow physician orders for specific types of nuclear medicine scans, including SPECT, PET, and cardiac imaging
• Monitor equipment performance, complete quality control checks, and report technical issues promptly
• Adhere strictly to infection control measures, radiation safety procedures, and privacy regulations
