Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (some procedures may extend to 4:30 pm EST)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Demonstrated proficiency in imaging procedures specific to nuclear medicine
- Valid and current BLS certification
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to upholding the highest standards in patient care and safety
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare, administer, and document radioactive tracers and pharmaceuticals for diagnostic use
- Monitor patients during and after procedures for any adverse reactions or complications
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
- Accurately document patient records, imaging results, and procedure notes within the facility’s electronic medical records system
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality imaging and patient satisfaction
