Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
  • Operate SPECT, PET, and hybrid scanners to produce clear, precise medical images.
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver timely reports and images.
  • Ensure strict compliance with radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
  • Accurately document patient histories, imaging processes, and test results in electronic health records.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and respond promptly to any emergent situations.
  • Educate patients and families about procedures and safety precautions.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB or ARRT-N credentialing preferred).
  • Registered or eligible as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
  • Demonstrated experience performing both diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine studies.
  • Proficiency working with modern imaging equipment and digital health records.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety and OSHA guidelines.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule/Hours:
