Advance your career in medical imaging with an opportunity to utilize both your nuclear medicine and radiology expertise. This is a 13-week contract position for an experienced Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist. You will play a pivotal role in performing high-quality imaging procedures using a GE Omni system in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (4x10’s), day shifts
Qualifications:
- Dual certification required:
- NMTCB or ARRT(N), and
- ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Valid New York state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology are mandatory
- Demonstrated experience operating GE Omni equipment
- Solid background in nuclear medicine, PET/CT, and advanced imaging techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and patient care skills
- Strong ability to collaborate within a fast-paced imaging team
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging procedures following established protocols
- Ensure optimal image quality using advanced GE Omni technology
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines for radiation safety and quality assurance
- Accurately document and communicate findings to radiologists and referring providers
- Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for patients, providing clear explanations and reassurance throughout procedures
