An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist with experience in advanced imaging. This contract assignment spans 13 weeks and offers exposure to cutting-edge equipment and a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts, days
Qualifications:
- Dual certification is required:
- Either NMTCB or ARRT(N)
- And one of the following: ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Current New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
- Prior experience operating GE Omni or similar GE imaging equipment is required
- Proficient in the use of Nuclear Medicine, CT, and PET technologies
- Strong understanding of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and quality assurance
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures using Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT modalities in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and preparation for diagnostic exams
- Operate and maintain GE Omni equipment, troubleshooting and reporting malfunctions as needed
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
- Assist radiologists and healthcare providers in reviewing and interpreting imaging results
- Document procedures, update patient records, and comply with all regulatory requirements
