This travel assignment will immerse you in the nuanced world of Nuclear Medicine Imaging, working in a well-equipped department that features GE technology and a supportive lead technologist. Gain valuable experience across a spectrum of studies—cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying—allowing you to widen your expertise with every case. Float when needed to nearby locations, expanding your exposure to different patient populations and workflow styles. Collaborate daily with in-house radiologists and multidisciplinary teams, furthering your professional growth through new leadership perspectives and operational approaches.
During your downtime, you can explore the Central Valley's scenic trails, local cuisine, and hidden gems, combining career advancement with meaningful adventures.
Schedule/Hours:
- 8-hour day shifts
- No block scheduling
- Rotating call after 4:30 pm on weekdays
- Rotating weekend and holiday call requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- Active California NMTL credential
- BLS certification
- Comfort with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS
- Ability to perform a wide range of imaging studies as listed above
Responsibilities:
- Perform 5-10 studies per day with precision and care
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort during each exam
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary staff
- Ensure accurate use of GE equipment and adherence to protocol
- Float as needed to nearby departments, maintaining flexibility and adaptability
