Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Sherman, IL

Schedule:

• Five 8-hour shifts per week (5x8s)
• 12-week assignment

Qualifications:

• Active certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Proven experience in nuclear medicine imaging and technology
• Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB certification required
• Valid state licensure as applicable
• Competence in operating nuclear medicine equipment and following imaging protocols
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory compliance
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and strong communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced nuclear medicine procedures with technical proficiency
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to physician orders and safety guidelines
• Accurately position patients and ensure their comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring optimal operation and regulatory compliance
• Analyze results, create detailed imaging records, and collaborate with radiologists and physicians on diagnostic findings
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond accordingly
• Adhere to all infection control protocols and maintain accurate documentation

$2,420 - $2,560/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
