Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with variable shifts based on facility needs

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of Nuclear Medicine experience in a clinical healthcare setting
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma environment strongly preferred
• Current certification by ARRT or NMTCB
• Active Illinois state radiology license (pending accepted with proof of in-progress application)
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Thorough understanding of imaging best practices and patient safety standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians, ensuring adherence to radiation safety protocols
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Accurately document all procedures, patient histories, and technical results within hospital and regulatory systems
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to support prompt patient care, especially in trauma and emergency situations
• Assist in quality assurance reviews, participate in ongoing department training, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Uphold and model all compliance, infection control, and privacy standards
