An opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine, CT Technology, and Nuclear Medicine Technology. This contract role requires a clinical care provider able to deliver patient-centered, holistic care and contribute to high-quality outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
- On call, as needed, with a 45-minute response time.
- Every other weekend (EOW) coverage.
- Variable weekday shifts: 6:30 am–3:00 pm, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, or 8:30 am–5:30 pm.
Key Qualifications:
- Professional experience in Nuclear Medicine and CT imaging.
- Certification and licensure relevant to Nuclear Medicine Tech roles.
- Comprehensive understanding of medication dosing and coordination with pharmacies.
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
- Strong communication, advocacy, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working independently and navigating variable shift demands.
- Capability to respond to calls and arrive onsite within 45 minutes as required.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality imaging and nuclear medicine services in accordance with clinical best practices.
- Manage on-call responsibilities, including coordinating dose ordering with pharmacies and communicating wait times to providers and patients.
- Deliver clinical care that aligns with patients’ personal and holistic goals.
- Document, monitor, and evaluate patient status and progress throughout the care process.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes, seeking additional resources for complex situations.
- Advocate for patients and families, ensuring a high standard of care and satisfaction.
