Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT or ARRT-NM)
  • Demonstrated experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment
  • Familiarity with safety protocols related to radiopharmaceuticals
  • Proficiency in imaging procedures, patient care, and image processing
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with healthcare teams
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, administer, and properly dispose of radiopharmaceutical agents
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Monitor and care for patients before, during, and after imaging procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in line with facility standards
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols for radiation exposure
  • Communicate imaging results and observations to medical staff when appropriate
  • Regularly inspect and calibrate equipment for optimum performance

$3,096 - $3,264/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
