Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Stockbridge, GA

Advance your career in nuclear medicine imaging through a dynamic contract role supporting adolescent to geriatric patients. This opportunity focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic services while collaborating within a technologically advanced imaging department.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule (06:00 – 17:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Call rotation: one week (7 days) per month (M-F after shift to 23:00; weekends 07:00-23:00)
• Flexibility to work major holidays as applicable
• Floating within the facility/scope as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant nuclear medicine experience
• Certification in BLS, ARRT-R, and/or NMTCB
• Proficiency required with the following technology: Xceleris processing, Fuji Synapse 5 PACS, AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR & CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C survey meter, Bicron 2000 survey meter
• Experience with Epic, PACS, Philips Skylight, and Siemens Symbia Evo
• Dark grey scrubs required
• Candidates must be fully compliant prior to assigned start date and pass a clinical screening review
• Not accepting first-time travelers for this role

Responsibilities:

• Perform all aspects of nuclear medicine imaging, ensuring safe, accurate, and quality studies
• Accurately process images and utilize integrated imaging systems
• Adhere to established protocols, including patient safety and radiation guidelines
• Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and patients across age groups
• Float between units/departments as needed for clinical coverage
• Participate in call and holiday coverage as assigned
• Support ongoing orientation and compliance requirements
