Advance your career by contributing specialized nuclear medicine expertise within a dynamic hospital environment. This contract position serves a patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics and requires a high level of technical proficiency and professionalism.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 - 17:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Call rotation: one week (7 days) per month; M-F call starts at shift end through 2300, weekends 0700-2300
  • Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Holiday coverage includes major holidays relevant to assignment length

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of recent experience in nuclear medicine imaging; first-time travelers not accepted
  • Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-R, NMTCB
  • Proficiency with Xceleris processing system, Fuji Synapse 5 (PACS), AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR & CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C, and Bicron 2000 survey meters
  • Experience with Epic, PACS, Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo
  • Adherence to dark grey scrub color policy
  • Ability to float as needed based on facility and clinical requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nuclear medicine imaging procedures
  • Process, analyze, and archive images utilizing specified software and equipment
  • Deliver high-quality imaging services to adolescent through geriatric patients
  • Comply with all safety, procedural, and regulatory policies within the imaging department
  • Support patient care needs in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams

Additional Information:

  • Full compliance is required to begin assignment; non-compliance will lead to a start date delay due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
  • Clinical screening is required, and final placement is determined following a clinical interview
