This contract opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist offers a chance to work with a diverse adolescent-to-geriatric patient population. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in advanced imaging technologies while adapting to a dynamic environment. Full compliance with all onboarding requirements is necessary to ensure a timely start in this structured and supportive setting.

Schedule/Hours

  • Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts (06:00 – 17:30)
  • Every other weekend required
  • Call rotation: One week (7 days) per month, M-F after shift until 23:00; weekends 07:00–23:00
  • Holiday coverage as designated

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience in Nuclear Medicine; first assignment travelers not accepted
  • Valid BLS, ARRT-R, and NMTCB certifications
  • Experience serving adolescent through geriatric populations
  • Proficient with:
    • Xceleris processing system
    • Fuji Synapse 5 – PACS
    • Epic electronic medical records
    • AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter
    • Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators
    • LudLum Model 14C and Bicron 2000 survey meters
  • Familiarity with Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo
  • Comfortable wearing dark grey scrubs
  • Flexibility to float within facility and scope of practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures and exams following institutional protocols
  • Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes as required
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring safety and compliance
  • Accurately document and update patient information in Epic and imaging systems
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Maintain adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
