Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Stone Mountain, GA

This contract assignment expects flexibility, strong technical proficiency, and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:00 – 17:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Call requirement: One week (7 days) per month; call hours are 2300-0700 weekdays, 0700-2300 weekends
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as necessary
• Must work holidays as outlined per assignment duration

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Certifications required: BLS, ARRT-R, NMTCB
• Strong familiarity with adolescent to geriatric populations
• Proficient with Epic, PACS (Fuji Synapse 5), Philips Skylight, Siemens Symbia Evo, and Xceleris processing system
• Experience with AtomLab960 Thyroid Probe/Well Counter, Capintec CRC-55tR and CRC-15 Beta dose calibrators, LudLum Model 14C and Bicron 2000 survey meters
• Ability to wear dark grey scrubs as standard
• Must meet all compliance and orientation requirements prior to start
• Locals accepted at same rate

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine procedures independently, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain specialized imaging and calibration equipment
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide optimal diagnostic care
• Adapt to floating duties across the facility as needed
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in Epic and ensure compliance with clinical and safety protocols
