Step into a specialized imaging role requiring expertise in Nuclear Medicine. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals ready to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging services. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with on-call and call-back responsibilities extending until 6:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. No weekend work is required, but flexibility for holidays is necessary if a holiday falls on your scheduled shift. Final interviews for this position will be conducted by the hiring manager.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT(N) or NMTCB).
  • Proven experience performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures in a clinical or hospital environment.
  • Up-to-date BLS certification.
  • Comfortable handling on-call and call-back duties.
  • Strong ability to work independently while adhering to departmental protocols and safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, ensuring clear interactions with patients and the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a range of nuclear medicine imaging exams as ordered by providers.
  • Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety guidelines.
  • Monitor patient status and provide updates to physicians or clinical staff as needed.
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment with precision and care.
  • Follow infection control policies and assist in managing imaging supply inventory.
  • Complete documentation accurately within electronic medical records.
