Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Summerville, GA

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• On call and call back required:
  • Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays until 6:00 PM
• No weekend rotation
• Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls during your assigned shift

Qualifications:

• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or equivalent credential
• Proven experience with advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures
• Solid understanding of radiopharmaceutical preparation and safety protocols
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Must pass a final interview with management

Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures according to protocols
• Prepare, administer, and document use of radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately
• Operate and calibrate imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results
• Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines related to radiation safety and patient confidentiality
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedure preparations, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive experience
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support optimal patient outcomes
