Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Summerville, GA

A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract role supporting diagnostic imaging services. This position works closely with patients and healthcare providers to perform nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring high-quality care and accurate imaging results.

Schedule/Hours:

• 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
• On-call coverage required Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday until 6:00pm
• No weekend rotation
• Holiday coverage required only if the holiday falls during a scheduled shift

Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Competency in imaging procedures using nuclear medicine technology
• Familiarity with safety protocols for handling and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow clinical procedures
• Effective communication skills for working with both colleagues and patients
• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical imaging department preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to established guidelines
• Operate imaging equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic images
• Accurately document procedure information and maintain patient records
• Closely monitor patients during procedures and provide clear instructions
• Collaborate with physicians and other care team members to interpret test results
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment in strict accordance with regulatory and institutional policies
