Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Valid certification from the NMTCB or ARRT (N)
  • State licensure (if required)
  • Strong knowledge of nuclear imaging techniques, radiopharmaceuticals, and safety protocols
  • Proficiency in operating nuclear imaging equipment, including SPECT and PET scanners
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients in accordance with established protocols
  • Perform a variety of imaging studies, capturing high-quality diagnostic images
  • Monitor patient condition throughout procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to interpret results and plan patient care
  • Educate patients and answer questions about nuclear medicine procedures
  • Adhere to all safety standards, quality assurance requirements, and infection control guidelines

$2,372 - $2,509/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
