An excellent opportunity is now open for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dedicated imaging team on a contract assignment. Schedule/Hours:
- Mondays at Sutter Tracy — 10-hour shift
- Tuesdays through Thursdays at Mercy Merced — 10-hour shifts
What You’ll Bring:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT or ARRT-N)
- Demonstrated competency in nuclear medicine procedures and equipment
- Ability to accurately follow protocols and ensure high-quality diagnostic images
- Strong patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work efficiently across different sites, as scheduled
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine imaging studies safely and efficiently
- Prepare, calibrate, and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists to achieve diagnostic goals
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, explaining procedures and offering reassurance throughout the process
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and comply with all privacy and safety standards
