Qualifications:

  • Current certification in BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Credentialed by ARRT(N) or NMTCB
  • Demonstrated experience in nuclear medicine imaging
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Adept with imaging equipment and following safety protocols
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures using appropriate imaging techniques
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring patient safety and procedure accuracy
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical professionals to interpret results
  • Maintain precise patient records and adhere to confidentiality standards
  • Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained according to safety standards and regulations
  • Educate patients about procedure steps and answer any questions to alleviate concerns
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately to emergencies
