Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Required Qualifications:
- Current NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification
- Active New York State License
- BLS CPR certification
- Experience with General Electric Nuclear Medicine cameras, Biodex Dose calibrator, EPIC, NMIS, Xeleris
Key Responsibilities:
- Order, prepare, and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Operate gamma equipment and perform SPECT/SPECT-CT imaging
- Utilize radiation safety practices and comply with federal and state guidelines
- Educate patients and communicate effectively with referring physicians and radiologists
- Document procedures, manage radioactive materials, and ensure quality control per ACR standards
- Maintain regulatory documentation and hospital policy compliance
- Perform IV insertions and removals for isotope injections
- Adhere to infection control and clinical protocols while ensuring patient confidentiality
