An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with experience in general Nuclear Medicine imaging. This assignment anticipates a Monday through Friday schedule, working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with no call responsibilities, offering an excellent work-life balance. The initial commitment is for six weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB or ARRT-N).
  • Previous experience in general Nuclear Medicine procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a dynamic imaging environment.
  • Additional proficiency in CT is preferred, though not required.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  • Calibrate and operate nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring accurate imaging for physician interpretation.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation and monitor patients during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to procedures and patient care.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with patients to ensure comfort and understanding during the imaging process.
  • Uphold all safety and regulatory policies within the imaging department.
