Take advantage of an excellent opportunity as a PET/CT Technologist providing essential diagnostic imaging services across multiple medical facilities. This contract position starts in July 2026 and supports quality patient care using advanced technology and expert skills in nuclear medicine.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • Current CNMT or ARRT(N)
  • NMTCB(CT), ARRT(R), or ARRT(CT) certification
  • Active New York State license for Nuclear Medicine and CT
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Experience operating GE Discovery IQ equipment is a plus
  • Prior proficiency in nuclear medicine and PET/CT technology required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for PET and CT procedures
  • Operate and maintain GE Discovery IQ imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans for a diverse patient population
  • Uphold strict safety and regulatory standards throughout all imaging processes
  • Communicate clearly with patients, providing thorough explanations and compassionate care
  • Accurately document procedures and patient information within hospital records
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams across designated sites to ensure coordinated, patient-focused service

Role Details:

  • Assignment lasts 13 weeks with a minimum commitment of at least 36 hours per week

$4,128 - $4,352/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
