Seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an important imaging role focused on providing high-quality patient care. This contract position requires experience in nuclear medicine and offers a regular weekday schedule with some weekend coverage. Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Every other weekend coverage required
Qualifications:
- Certification and experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Proficiency with imaging equipment and related technology
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong communication abilities for effective patient interaction and team collaboration
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in imaging procedures
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct nuclear medicine imaging studies according to protocols and physician orders
- Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed
- Monitor patient well-being during and after procedures, ensuring safety and comfort
- Accurately maintain and update patient records
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other technologists to coordinate quality care
- Follow established safety and infection control guidelines at all times
