We are searching for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist skilled at performing high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures. Qualifications:
- Current certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB).
- Demonstrated experience operating imaging equipment and conducting nuclear medicine procedures.
- Familiarity with safe handling of radiopharmaceuticals and adherence to regulatory protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to maintaining strict safety and quality standards.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with physician orders and safety guidelines.
- Conduct a variety of imaging studies, including PET and SPECT scans, ensuring accurate and timely acquisition of diagnostic images.
- Monitor patient responses and remain alert to any adverse reactions or complications.
- Accurately document findings, patient information, and procedural details in the electronic medical record.
- Educate patients about procedures, address their concerns, and uphold a calming environment.
- Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment, recognizing and reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Uphold infection control, privacy, and confidentiality standards at all times.
