Nuclear Med Technologist - West Palm Beach, FL

An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in advanced imaging techniques. Schedule/Hours:

• Likely 5x8s day shifts
• Some rotating weekend shifts and on-call duties (exact details to be discussed during interview)

Qualifications:

• ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB certification required (either accepted)
• Active State of Florida radiologic technologist license required
• Experience operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and performing related procedures
• Solid understanding of radiation safety protocols and patient care best practices
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and regulatory guidelines
• Operate specialized imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed
• Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures and offer support and education
• Accurately document procedures, patient information, and results in electronic health records
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care
