Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) | West Winfield, New York

Seeking a skilled professional with expertise in Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT imaging, and advanced technology. This opportunity provides a dynamic environment utilizing a GE Discovery IQ system and welcomes those who are passionate about delivering top-quality imaging services.

Schedule:

• 13-week contract
• 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Tuesday through Friday, day shift hours

Required Qualifications:

• Experience operating the GE Discovery IQ or similar GE imaging equipment
• Dual certification required: NMTCB or ARRT(N) and one of the following—ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT) (You must hold a Nuclear Medicine certification and a Radiology certification)
• Active New York state licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
• Strong technical skills in Nuclear Medicine, CT, and PET procedures
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clinicians and patients
• Thorough understanding of current safety standards and imaging protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging examinations using the GE Discovery IQ system
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and medical staff to obtain optimal imaging outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow department protocols
• Calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on imaging equipment
• Monitor images for quality assurance and complete post-exam processing
