Seeking a skilled professional to provide advanced imaging services in a dynamic environment focused on Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures. This contract role requires expertise with GE Discovery IQ equipment and a commitment to service excellence over a 13-week assignment.
Schedule:
- 4x10 hour shifts per week
- Tuesday through Friday, day shifts
Qualifications:
- Experience operating GE Discovery IQ and other GE imaging equipment is essential
- Must possess dual certification:
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) and
- ARRT(R), ARRT(CT), or NMTCB(CT)
- Holds active New York State licenses in both Nuclear Medicine and Radiology
- Demonstrated experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT scanning techniques
- Ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate and ensure proper maintenance of GE Discovery IQ and related equipment
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
- Deliver high-quality patient care throughout the imaging process
- Record, analyze, and process imaging results for physician review
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of patient care
