A highly skilled professional is needed to operate independently in an Imaging – Nuclear Medicine setting, with primary responsibilities in the Nuclear Medicine Department. As the primary technologist, you will manage a low-volume caseload, conducting 3–4 NM Stress Tests and 1–2 General NM studies weekly. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the Nuclear Medicine workflow, including routine and regulatory tasks.

Schedule:

  • Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM
  • Four 9-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
  • Fridays off
  • No on-call responsibilities

Qualifications:

  • Certification and experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
  • Proficient in working independently with minimal supervision
  • Experience operating Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard Hot Lab NM equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Monthly QC, Leak Tests, and participation in Quarterly RSO meetings
  • Ability to manage scheduling, patient care, and regulatory responsibilities efficiently
  • CT experience is highly preferred, adding value when NM volume is low

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform and document all Nuclear Medicine studies per protocols
  • Conduct Monthly Quality Control and required Leak Tests to maintain compliance and safety standards
  • Attend and contribute to Quarterly Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) meetings
  • Interact professionally with patients, providing accurate instructions and compassionate care
  • Maintain department records and adhere to regulatory and hospital guidelines
  • Collaborate with other imaging modalities if CT skills are present
