A skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist is needed for a contract position in Wolfeboro, NH, to independently manage the Nuclear Medicine (NM) Department with minimal supervision. This role requires solid experience in Nuclear Medicine imaging, with the ability to perform essential quality control procedures and compliance tasks consistently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently operate the Siemens E Gamma Camera and standard Nuclear Medicine equipment in the Hot Lab.
  • Perform Monthly Quality Control (QC) tests and Leak Tests to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Attend Quarterly Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) meetings.
  • Conduct approximately 3-4 NM Stress Tests and 1-2 general NM studies per week.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate remotely as needed while primarily managing the NM Department alone.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist with proficiency operating independently.
  • Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment and standard NM Hot Lab protocols.
  • Experience completing Monthly QC, Leak Tests, and participating in RSO meetings.
  • Preferably skilled in CT imaging to complement the limited NM volume.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills appropriate for autonomous work.

Schedule and Hours:

  • Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM (36 hours/week).
  • Four 9-hour shifts with Fridays off.
  • No on-call responsibilities.
