This travel position on the imaging team will challenge your technical expertise and help expand your skillset through collaboration with diverse healthcare professionals. Desired Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT (N) or NMTCB)
  • Active state license, or eligibility, for Nuclear Medicine Technology in Illinois
  • At least one year of recent experience in a nuclear medicine setting
  • Strong proficiency with imaging equipment and radioactive material handling
  • Solid knowledge of radiation safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, RNs, and ancillary staff
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a broad range of nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as necessary, ensuring patient safety at all times
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to interpret study results, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure efficient workflow
  • Uphold aseptic techniques, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Provide compassionate care, education, and reassurance to patients throughout each procedure
