An opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging Technologist specializing in PET/CT. This contract position is ideal for professionals who excel in advanced imaging modalities and thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment. The assignment spans 13 weeks, offering a consistent weekday schedule.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (occasional procedures may extend to 4:30 pm EST)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a PET/CT or CT/PET Technologist
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Proficiency in operating PET/CT imaging equipment, with strong attention to safety and patient care standards
- Familiarity with quality control protocols and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols
- Ensure optimal image quality while prioritizing patient safety and comfort
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as needed, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation within the healthcare record system
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to support comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated with the latest imaging advances and safety guidelines

$3,096 - $3,264/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
