An exciting contract opportunity is available for an experienced Imaging professional with proficiency in both PET/CT and CT/PET technologies. This position offers a 13-week engagement, ideal for a skilled technologist looking to expand expertise within a dynamic healthcare environment.
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
- Occasional procedures may extend until 4:30 pm
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing PET/CT and CT/PET imaging
- Current BLS certification required
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging practices
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot PET/CT equipment efficiently
- Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality PET/CT and CT/PET scans, ensuring patient safety and optimal imaging results
- Prepare and position patients for diagnostic procedures in accordance with protocol and best practices
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to facilitate timely and accurate interpretations
- Maintain documentation, imaging records, and compliance with departmental and regulatory standards
- Apply infection control and radiation safety measures at all times
- Actively participate in quality improvement and continuous learning initiatives

$3,096 - $3,264/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
