PET/CT Technologist - Webster, New York

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced imaging professional skilled in PET/CT technology. This contract role offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering advanced imaging services to support patient care. The position requires strong technical abilities in both PET and CT modalities.

Schedule/Hours:

• Start as soon as possible
• 13-week duration
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Some procedures may extend to 4:30 pm EST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience performing PET/CT imaging
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Detailed knowledge of PET/CT protocols and safety procedures
• Proficiency with imaging equipment and software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative clinical team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PET/CT diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols
• Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
• Utilize advanced imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images
• Document and report on imaging findings, maintaining detailed and accurate records
• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals regarding imaging results and patient status
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and confidentiality protocols at all times
