Take your expertise in diagnostic imaging to the next level by providing essential support in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity is designed for a skilled Radiologic Technologist who is comfortable with a variety of procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Schedule:

  • 10-hour and 8-hour day shifts

Qualifications:

  • Current ARRT (R) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Experience performing diagnostic radiology, including operating room (OR), fluoroscopy, portable radiography, emergency department (ED), and standard X-ray procedures
  • Strong communication skills for patient interaction and effective teamwork
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing clinical demands

Duties:

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic radiologic examinations across multiple patient areas, including OR, fluoroscopy, portable radiography, ED, and routine X-rays
  • Ensure patient safety by following established protocols and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of imaging best practices
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, clearly explaining steps to alleviate concerns
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
  • Manage and operate radiology equipment with accuracy, and maintain imaging records according to compliance standards
  • Employ radiation protection techniques for both patients and team members
