Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Valid state license to practice as a Radiology Tech
  • Proficient in radiographic imaging equipment, including digital X-ray and fluoroscopy
  • Working knowledge of PACS and medical imaging software
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety procedures
  • Excellent patient communication and care skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced or high-acuity settings
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Previous clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, varied shifts may be required based on department needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality diagnostic radiology procedures as ordered by physicians
  • Ensure proper positioning and comfort of patients during imaging exams
  • Explain procedures clearly to patients and address any concerns
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records in patient files and hospital information systems
  • Monitor equipment for proper functioning, performing basic maintenance as needed
  • Practice strict adherence to infection control and radiation safety guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with radiologists and referring providers for coordinated care
  • Respond promptly to urgent imaging requests and stat orders
