This travel opportunity places you within a Level II Trauma Center renowned for its innovation and broad case mix. Working across advanced interventional suites—including Cath Labs, EP Rooms, Hybrid, and IR Rooms—you’ll encounter a variety of adult inpatient and outpatient procedural cases. Gaining hands-on experience with high-acuity procedures (such as STEMI/MI interventions, ablations, and endovascular repairs) means exposure to a wide range of techniques, expanding your professional toolkit and building a standout resume.

Daily collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and expert leaders offers rich professional growth—sharpen your technical expertise, deepen your clinical judgment, and enhance your adaptability by learning diverse protocols and charting systems (EPIC, Merge, GE Cardio). Weekend and call rotation schedules mean you'll also have valuable downtime to explore the area or recharge.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotations required (on call: 10-11 shifts per month)
  • Call shifts: 4p–7a weekdays, 4p Friday–7a Monday weekends
  • 30-minute response time for calls
  • 12 hours facility and unit orientation

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Cath Lab or IR (cross-training preferred)
  • ARRT, IEMA (IL license), BLS, and ACLS required
  • Proficiency in simultaneous scrub and pan, Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring
  • Prior travel experience required (no first-time travelers)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform imaging procedures in Cath Lab, EP, Hybrid, and IR settings
  • Scrub and pan for advanced interventional cases
  • Respond rapidly as part of the call team
  • Collaborate with RNs, cardiologists, and other team members
