A skilled Radiology Technologist is needed to support imaging services for a reputable healthcare facility. This contract position plays a key role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist physicians with patient assessment and care.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a Radiology Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • State licensure (if required)
  • Proficient in operating X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment
  • Demonstrated knowledge of radiologic safety protocols and best practices
  • Familiarity with digital radiography and PACS systems
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • BLS certification preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract role with variable shifts as required by department needs

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic imaging examinations efficiently and accurately
  • Ensure appropriate positioning and comfort of patients throughout procedures
  • Maintain precise documentation in accordance with facility protocols
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize imaging quality and workflow
  • Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot minor issues, and promptly report larger concerns for resolution
  • Adhere strictly to safety measures, infection control, and regulatory standards
  • Assist during emergency situations with rapid, high-quality radiographic imaging
  • Practice sensitivity and discretion with patient information at all times
