Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
  • State of Georgia Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience as a Radiology Technologist in a clinical or hospital setting preferred
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining imaging equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to compassionate patient care
  • Strong attention to detail and familiarity with safety regulations in radiology

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures accurately and efficiently, ensuring high-quality images for physician interpretation
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort and safety throughout
  • Operate radiology equipment, monitoring performance and reporting any malfunctions
  • Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and organizational standards at all times
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Complete accurate documentation and maintain up-to-date patient records
