Step into a dynamic environment as a Radiologic Technologist, providing vital imaging services that contribute directly to exceptional patient care. In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting a wide range of technical procedures, showcasing your expertise and independent judgment while utilizing advanced radiographic equipment. Flexibility and dependability are essential, along with a commitment to safety and a patient-centered approach.

Schedule:

  • Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
  • 10:00 am – 10:00 pm

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • Current ARRT Radiography certification
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS), ARC-BLS, or BLS-I certification
  • Entry-level candidates welcome; must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of anatomy, pathology, exposure factors, and radiation protection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols
  • Obtain comprehensive clinical histories and ensure proper patient identification
  • Position patients safely and effectively, applying radiation protection standards
  • Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and manage image processing and transfer
  • Educate and instruct patients regarding procedures, fostering comfort and trust
  • Respond appropriately to emergent situations and assist with equipment troubleshooting
  • Participate in the orientation, training, and guidance of students during clinical rotations
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep supplies stocked
  • Stay compliant with regulatory standards and hospital policies
