Schedule / Hours:
- Weekend rotation: On-call only (2 weekends per month: Friday 4p–Monday 7a)
- 10–11 on-call shifts per month (including weekdays 4p–7a)
- 30-minute response time required
Qualifications/Requirements:
- ARRT certification and active IEMA (IL radiology license)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent Cath Lab OR 2 years’ IR experience
- Comfort with scrubbing and panning simultaneously, Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Cross-training in both Cath Lab and IR modalities preferred
- EPIC charting experience advantageous
- No first-time travelers
Core Responsibilities:
- Support diagnostic and interventional heart caths, EP procedures (pacemakers, ablations), and hybrid vascular interventions
- Deliver intra-procedural radiologic imaging for adult inpatient and outpatient populations
- Collaborate with a team comprising RNs, hospitalists, cardiologists, and techs to provide seamless patient care
- Possibility of floating between IR and Cath Lab as skills allow
- Utilize advanced Siemens and GE Cardio equipment for precise imaging and procedure support
