Travel X-Ray Technologist - Aurora, IL

Schedule / Hours:

• Weekend rotation: On-call only (2 weekends per month: Friday 4p–Monday 7a)
• 10–11 on-call shifts per month (including weekdays 4p–7a)
• 30-minute response time required

Qualifications/Requirements:

• ARRT certification and active IEMA (IL radiology license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent Cath Lab OR 2 years’ IR experience
• Comfort with scrubbing and panning simultaneously, Impella, balloon pump, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Cross-training in both Cath Lab and IR modalities preferred
• EPIC charting experience advantageous
• No first-time travelers

Core Responsibilities:

• Support diagnostic and interventional heart caths, EP procedures (pacemakers, ablations), and hybrid vascular interventions
• Deliver intra-procedural radiologic imaging for adult inpatient and outpatient populations
• Collaborate with a team comprising RNs, hospitalists, cardiologists, and techs to provide seamless patient care
• Possibility of floating between IR and Cath Lab as skills allow
• Utilize advanced Siemens and GE Cardio equipment for precise imaging and procedure support
