Travel Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) - Bakersfield, California

Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating call with 30-minute response time
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage: 1 major & 1 minor holiday

Qualifications:

• Current ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) certification
• Active BLS certification
• Minimum two years of recent Radiology Tech experience
• Experience with GE and Toshiba technology preferred
• Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of imaging studies (brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, extremities)
• Operate GE and Toshiba radiology equipment efficiently
• Complete an average of 100 scans/studies daily
• Float as needed between main campus and secondary location (within 7 miles)
• Adhere to department protocols, wear teal scrubs (provided), and participate in a comprehensive orientation led by the department’s lead
• Work cooperatively with the team, supporting high-quality patient care
