Qualifications & Skills:

• Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• State licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
• Demonstrated experience as an Imaging or X-ray Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
• Proficiency with digital imaging equipment and PACS systems
• Solid knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills
• Effective communication abilities and patient-focused mindset

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and radiologic imaging according to physician orders and clinical protocols
• Prepare and position patients appropriately ensuring comfort and safety
• Adhere strictly to all radiation protection guidelines to safeguard patients, self, and team members
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed records of performed procedures, utilizing hospital EMR systems with accuracy
• Keep all imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and in working order to guarantee operational readiness
• Assist in transporting and transferring patients when necessary
