Qualifications & Skills:
- Current and valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- State licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist
- Demonstrated experience as an Imaging or X-ray Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
- Proficiency with digital imaging equipment and PACS systems
- Solid knowledge of radiation safety protocols and procedures
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational skills
- Effective communication abilities and patient-focused mindset
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and radiologic imaging according to physician orders and clinical protocols
- Prepare and position patients appropriately ensuring comfort and safety
- Adhere strictly to all radiation protection guidelines to safeguard patients, self, and team members
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to deliver accurate results in a timely manner
- Maintain detailed records of performed procedures, utilizing hospital EMR systems with accuracy
- Keep all imaging equipment clean, calibrated, and in working order to guarantee operational readiness
- Assist in transporting and transferring patients when necessary
